[Troubleshooting] Disconnection & Unable to Connect Guide

While using FlyMon, if you encounter issues such as sudden disconnection or unable to connect, most problems can actually be resolved within just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through 3 quick steps to identify and fix the issue, helping you get back to using your device right away.

Step 1: Check the screen to identify the type of disconnection

When Flymon is not working properly, first check what is displayed on your screen 👇

  • Case 1: Flymon Center Displays "Searching for devices"

👉 This means the device has not established a connection yet(Possibly Bluetooth is not paired or not turned on)

  • Case 2: Flymon Center Displays "FLYMON Not Connected. Please connect FLYMON first." - Most Common Cause

👉 This indicates the device Bluetooth is disconnected. Bluetooth settings will show:

    • ❌ flymon_XX (Device Bluetooth) is NOT connected
    • ✅ Flymon App / Pokémon GO Plus is connected

Step 2: Check the Bluetooth connection indicator light

The Flymon connection status can be quickly identified by the Bluetooth blue indicator light.

Please follow the steps below:

👉 Press the Flymon joystick head to reconnect.

👉 Or turn off the Flymon device and the app, wait 10 seconds, then restart them and press the Flymon joystick to reconnect.

Observe the Bluetooth indicator light status:

  • No light - Most Common Cause


👉 Status: Bluetooth is turned off.
Solution: Press and hold the blue connection button to enable Flymon_XX Bluetooth

  • Blue light flashing


👉 Status: The device is searching / pairing
Recommendation: Wait a few seconds, or re-pair the Bluetooth connection

  • Blue light stays solid


👉 Status: Successfully connected
